The house sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms:

  • A primary bedroom with an extra-large double and single bed

  • A second bedroom with a single bed

  • A third bedroom with a double bed

There is one bathroom, along with a fully equipped kitchen, living room, and dining room designed for relaxed, everyday use during your stay.

Pets are welcome at no additional charge, making it well suited to those travelling with dogs.

Whether returning from a walk across the machair or spending a quieter day on the island, the house offers a warm and relaxing place to come back to.

What to expect during your stay

How does arrival work?

Reaching Iona involves travelling via Mull and taking a short ferry crossing from Fionnphort. While it takes a little more planning than other destinations, the journey is straightforward and well signposted.

On arrival to the island, Jamie can meet guests from the ferry and bring you directly to Machair House, making the final part of your journey simple and stress-free.
